This spring, Pearl Izumi launched an entirely new brand campaign called “Here we Go” illuminates their renewed Social Purpose and brand transformation in 2019.
Inclusivity, diversity, connection and uniting riders by their love of riding is the foundation of Here we Go. According to Pearl Izumi, the tagline “Here we Go” celebrates the common feelings all riders share and the positive impact we can have on our communities through bicycles.
“Here we Go” is anchored by one simple, powerful word: Go. Sometimes it’s a word of encouragement. Other times, a call to action. It celebrates the individual, as well as the collective, and elevates riding to much more than a competition. It acts as a rallying cry for all the good that cycling has to offer. The brand’s goal is simple: to unite cyclists by their love of riding.
Well, I say “YAAAASSSSS”!!!
Cycling is many things to many people. Some of us are bike commuters only. Some of us are mountain bikers only. Some of us ride eBikes, recumbent bikes. We ride bikes that we pick up on Craigslist for $20 and we ride bikes that cost more than the GNP of some small countries.
What Pearl Izumi is getting at is that we’re all individual and unique. We all ride for different reasons. But we have one thing in common: we all ride and bikes move us forward.
